Model Description
The M6 returned to production in 2022 with the basic operating arrangement of the earlier M6: a mechanical shutter combined with selective TTL exposure metering. The finder has 0.72× magnification and uses coated optical surfaces to reduce stray light. The meter retains directional arrows and adds a central red dot for correct exposure together with a battery warning. Construction also differs from many earlier M6 cameras: the new upper cover is machined from solid brass rather than die-cast zinc and finished in black lacquer. Batteries are used for the meter; the shutter remains mechanically controlled from one second to 1/1000 second.
